I have an iPhone 5s and an iPad mini first gen, both running the latest iOS. I have a Macbook Pro running Yosemite 10.10.3. With Calibre 1.7x I could synch my books no problem, but I decided to update both Calibre and the plugins; now cannot even configure the iOS reader applications, because I keep getting the above error message. Have rebooted the Macbook, have removed the iOS reader applications plugin and reinstalled it. Still no success.
