If you're using iOS 8.3, there's a known compatibility problem with it. Nothing can be done about it at this time. http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=241143&page=33

Is there a way to make this reply a sticky on the Issues page?
I have no idea. I'm not actually involved with the project at all; I just know that Philantrop has had health issues, so I'm trying to make sure everyone is aware of the ongoing problem.
truth1ness, no, there isn't. I wish there was.
KatyaL, I greatly appreciate your help with these issues. I've added a huge note to the top of the thread on MR.
No problem. I get email notifications whenever someone posts here, so I just skim their issue looking for 8.3, and then copy/paste the response if I find it. (I was lucky enough to stumble over other people's issues before updating my iPhone/iPad, so I'm just not updating to 8.3 myself.)
Hope things are looking up for you.
