Sorry Ipad air first gen wifi only
If you're using iOS 8.3, there's a known compatibility problem with it. Nothing can be done about it at this time. http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=241143
(I don't see a notation for iOS version in your error data, so I can't be sure if that's your problem, but I thought I'd let you know just in case.)
The link above takes you to the comment. Quote This plugin is NOT compatible with iOS >= 8.3. Nothing can be done about it till libimobiledevice is adapted to the changes by Apple. Unquote What does this mean? Does it mean we are waiting for Apple to do something - if so it will never happen. If we are waiting for someone else to do something to libimobiledevice does anyone know how to get a status of when this is expected to happen.
It means that Apple made changes and we have to wait for libmobiledevice to be fixed to work with it. At this point, it's possible that Apple has broken things so that libmobiledevice cannot be fixed.
Reading and following that thread is the easiest way to get current information about the situation. libmobiledevice was created and is maintained by a third party. Neither the original creator of iOSRA nor its current maintainer have anything to do with the inner workings of libmobiledevice, but iOSRA relies on it for functionality, as I understand it.
Ya man let me say what most people are just thinking. Ya, it's a dead end for now. Apple put a stop to it. Project sadly and abruptly disbanded. No one wants to say it because that would mean accepting that all our dreams really have been crushed.
