11 years ago Have you followed the directions in the iOS reader applications plugin thread?
After configuring the plugin with Marvin as your preferred reader application, start Marvin on your iDevice. In the Home or Library screen, touch the cloud icon in the lower right corner, then touch calibre connector to begin communication between calibre and Marvin.

there is not such a cloud icon in the lower right corner, neither in the Home, nor in the Library screen. In the Home screen in the lower right corner there is just Get books .... Ok, I see now!

It is a pity that I cannot read pdfs on Marvin. It is also a pity that I cannot even send pdf's to GoodReader. Mathematicians and physicists need pdfs or djvu, since formulas are not converted to epubs. because of this, Calibre for sync with iPad is quite useless for us. Thank you anyway for your help.

11 years ago I am not Marvin's developer. I am the developer of the iOS reader applications plugin which supports Marvin and GoodReader. If you think Marvin should support PDFs, contact the app's developer.
The plugin is designed to send PDFs from calibre to GoodReader. It works for me. If it's not working for you, create a new issue with a debug log as described in issue #1.

I spent more than a hours in trying everything.
Here I just put the debug device detection log.
I see now that I cannot attach it.
This is very frustrating.
