Release 1.6 #260

Target date around 2015-08-01. Then it's three months since the last release and there are enough changes to justify putting out a new one.

I created a new milestone and added issues which are still open and should imho be resolved in 1.6 (please vote/comment/contribute).

1.6 does not introduce any breaking changes and should be compatible with 1.5.

I updated a few sites today with what is supposed to become 1.6 (branch release/1.6). Fleshing out the update notes along the way the "non-breaking" definition became a little bit stretchy.

Update notes so far.

I'm still OK releasing that as 1.6, but opinions are welcome.
