As of now dark theme looks out of place next to other apps. Comparison

The "dark mode" is just a different theme on the app instead of an actual "dark mode". What does the app look like on the default theme?

I'm actually in agreement about this. I think the dark 'solarized' layout looks pretty funky in comparison to most modern dark themes. Is there any way to modify the theming so that it isn't this way?

I've also noticed that if you change the theme in the top right (gear icon> color icon) you end up changing the currently selected theme under preferences, and you need to go back and set it again.
