Access denied to keyfile #1959

I recently installed this app on my android mobile and it looks good with and works well until I try to supplement my protection with the "keyfile" option.

I have set up password + keyfile protection on my PC, stored the database on Dropbox and copied the keyfile to my mobile.

When I try to setup "password + key" from within the app, I receive an "access denied" error, wherever I store the keyfile or however I try to access it from within the app

which Android version and app version are you using? How did you copy the file to the ANdroid?

Hi Thank you for your reply....

I'm using version 1.09c-r0

I moved the key file I created on my Windows 10 PC to my NAS using Windows explorer, then android CX file manager to bring it to my mobile....

Can you advise whether this procedure is correct....?

if the key file is on your NAS, can you maybe open it from there directly (e.g. using SFTP)?
