2 years ago Ran into the exact same issue just now of it just displaying the usual file open dialog if you try with Yubikey Challenge-Response.
It seems that at this point it is supposed to load something to access the Yubikey (such as ykDroid as I saw in other blogs posting about setting this up) but it's simply not happening.

1 year ago could anyone resolve this problem by now? I have the same problem,. I installed ykDroid 1.2.1 and after selecting Password + Challenge-Respond and choosing the file, nothing is happening besides the menu to choose the file :-/

11 months ago Hello everyone, it's long ago ... I think I have received an answer by Philipp, where he confirmed the problem. Meanwhile I changed back to password, to work on. I think it's a pity, but it is how it is. Have a great time

Ok I think I will switch to KeePassDX then they have Yubikey Support.
Hallo Philipp, ich habe am PC mit KeyPass eine Datenbank erstellt mit "Passwort + Challenge-Response" unter Verwendung eines Yubikey (NFC). Mit meinem alten Phone mit Android 10 hat alles funktioniert. Nun habe ich ein neues Phone mit Android 12. Wenn ich dort den Button "OTP-HILFSDATEI LADEN ..." betätige, erscheint ein Fenster mit: "Speichertyp wählen". Was muss ich wählen, oder ändern, damit ich K2A auch unter Android 12 mit dem Yubikey verwenden kann? Vielen Dank schon mal für Deine Hilfe.
