Hi Philipp,

first of all, thank you for your Time you spend for maling your great app.

I read much time people love the QR Show function, me used it also few times and it was a fine way to share a entry. The plugin dont work for me, i just install your latest version of keepass from Github and hope the it work again, but it dosnt. The QR Plugin is from 2014 (Google Play). Is it possible to make a new one or dosnt it work because of some security Settings on Android 12 and its not possible not fix it.

My second Question is Can you make it under Settings possible to allow screenshots, or its same a security setting on Android 12?

I hope its possible to "fix" Show QR Code because its a really nice feature and i didn't find that a otver password apps.

Sorry for my broken english i hope you find time to read all the suggestions and "fix" some of tham.

Thank you and greetings from Germany

I haven't used show qr code in a while and tried yesterday and see it doesn't work from within kp2a anymore. A workaround is to launch the "QR Plugin for KP2A" app and select "Select entry to show as QR code" but that's kind of inconvenient (and you have to remember you need to do that).

Would be great if this could work within kp2a again.

I don't use QR codes, but does Settings-App-Display-Protect Database Display help at all?

You can allow screenshots by doing that.

+1

I was about to raise a feature request for generating QR codes with password from KP2A, but first searched and found this. Would be great to have this feature reintroduced or implemented natively...

Pasting the feature request, since i started writing anyway:

Summary

I keep my database on my mobile device. I sometimes need to sign in to my accounts from a company computer, where I don't want to keep my database / can't install KeepassXC. My passwords are usually autogenerated, so it's cumbersome to type them in manually. The workaround I came up with is to use an external app to generate a QR code containing my password and use the Windows Camera app to scan it using my notebooks built-in camera. It's a bit cumbersome, because I need to first copy my password, paste it in another app and share the text via QR code generator from there. Would be great if KeepassXC mobile app could do this for me.

Examples

I need to sign in to my google account on a trusted computer, which I do not own. I locate my password in KeepassXC app on my mobile, select password and click "generate QR code" I scan the code with built-in windows 10 camera app, copy the password and paste it into the sign-in form.
