I would check if battery optimization is turned off for KeePass2Android. And if so, if Suspend Execution for Cached Apps is not enabled in developer setting - https://www.reddit.com/r/motorola/comments/1e7dm64/comment/le1qato/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
Hm, that link is interesting. Might be that. Both phones have this setting at "Default", whatever that is. But I started by turning off the battery optimization for K2A. But also this was identical between the two phones.
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to make a difference, I have now set battery usage to 'Unrestricted' for Keepass2Android and I changed the 'Suspend execution for cached apps' to 'Disabled' but I still need to mostly fill out the full password unless it is very shortly after last usage.
I would also try turning off Use Adaptive Battery - https://en-in.support.motorola.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/178801/~/tips-to-extend-the-battery-life---moto-edge-50-pro
That also does not seem to make a difference :(
What version of Keepass2Android are you using? 1.11-r0 (on both phones)
On my previous phone, Motorola Edge 30 pro with Android 14, I could use QuickUnlock unless I quit Keepass2Android. I now have another phone, a Motorola Edge 50 pro, also Android 14, very often I need to type the full password. I've gone through the settings side by side, but they seem equal. Why do the two behave so differently? I like the QuickUnlock...
I haven't investigated if there is a time after which the full path is needed. It works if I go back to the app after a short while, but I get the feeling that if it takes more than an hour or so, then it wants the full password. But I haven't methodically checked this, so I may be well off here...
Any idea?
