Issue probably due to the thunderbolt PCI express box hardware/support on linux and/or the laptop.
Tested succesfully all AIO Pro speed modes on a supermicro server earlier today.
(Usable period sizes: (almost) no xruns at 64 samples period size at 48 and 96KHz, and 256 sample periods at 192KHz.)
Similar issues with AIO cards on PCIe thunderbolt expansion boxes.
RayDAT issues at quad-speed. Single and double speed OK in my tests of today.
AIO Pro quad speed analog and digital audio sounds distorted. (Not an xrun issue.)
Platform: razor blade 2019 laptop and sonnet echo express se IIIe thunderbolt PCIe extension box. Ubuntu studio 20.04.
AIO Pro S/PDIF and ADAT double speed audio sounded distorted when listening on a RME UCX on a macbook pro. Double speed ADAT and S/PDIF input are OK though. Analog audio out also OK.
Also tried a startech TB32PCIEX16 box: similar issues + analog output not working. Analog output also not working with this box on a macbook pro.
