Cannot login into my domain

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Access to GASI
2. Enter email (user@domain) and password
3. Click login

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I should be able to login, instead I can't.
The output I get is: Exception: Either the user name entered is not a Google 
Apps Administrator or the Provisioning API is not enabled for your domain.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
MacOSX 10.10.3 - Latest version of GASI

Please provide any additional information below.
It's a domain registered on google apps for work. I've already checked in 
security (in the admin panel on Google Apps) and the APIs are enabled. The 
admin has all the privileges to use the APIs against that domain. Of course I'm 
able to access with the same credentials to the "normal" web interface of the 
Google APIs admin panel.
What else did I miss?
