wrong checksum of Phoca Cart 4.0.10 #213

Hi, am on Phoca Cart 4.0.5 and tried to update to 4.0.10. Update is failing with:

The checksum verification failed. Please make sure you are using the correct update server!

Tha manifest.xml file is stating the following checksum:

<sha512>f77bab3310151dfa8c1acaea99e3085d403f41d62884e370df4eeafe889ec6273c0e1fe32b5ee273ccde33567586660144298ac49c34f4500d9dcf60e88bdd08</sha512>

while the downloaded file has:

sha512sum com_phocacart_v4.0.10.zip 
0c1cc5de36f4507b72b6497e5c983ca6d1d464c77ca21c6e73b8f05ce362b43d2403f4ecce51920bf9ca52ff4f60607ae64e91ddef28e4ff1d406e6ea048b1dd  com_phocacart_v4.0.10.zip

so what is wrong now? manifest.xml or com_phocacart_v4.0.10.zip ? kindly fix

Hi, the manifest which will be updated automatically when the Phoca Cart 5 will be stable.

Hi, then kindly do not offer 4.0.10 as Update until it has a valid checksum. That doesn't make sense. See attachment.

Hi,

you can download the file here: https://www.phoca.cz/download/99-phoca-cart/100-phoca-cart-component

and install it standardly in file manager.

Manifests are created automatically and because they had problems with the Joomla checksum property, since version 5.0.0 their creation changes and therefore they will work 100% when the manifest automatically updates to version 5.0.0.

There will be new file for this: https://github.com/PhocaCz/PhocaCart/blob/master/checksum.json

which will check the version and the checksum, so there will be no more problem with wrong checksums.

Yes, I can manually change the manifest file to fit current checksum but it will be unfortunately back reverted by system and will fully work since Phoca Cart 5.0.0.

There is no intention to offer wrong checksum but it will be 100% when the system will get new 5.0.0 version.

BTW - edited manually.
