arrow key of input history is active despite empty history #63

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. start advanced-find and search for something with "Find"
2. click on the broom symbol of the "Find what:" field to clear it's history
3. close advanced-find and start it again

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The arrow button of the "Find what:" field should be grayed out because the
history was cleared, but it's not. Clicking it shows an empty list.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
gedit 3.2.3
advanced-find 3.3.8
Linux Mint 12

Please provide any additional information below.
This behavior applies to all input fields.

I think that won't make any problem.

No but it looks ugly and lets the user think there is a history although there
is no. So it's a bug and should be fixed...

The arrow button sensitivity is handled by GTK+ automatically.
I don't want to handle it by myself.
