plugin doesn't work in gedit 3.6.2 #82

Gedit 3.6.2 uses ~/.local/share/gedit/plugins instead of ~/.gnome2

The desktop file has a different name (.plugin instead of .gedit-plugin)

The desktop file has a new header ([Plugin] instead of [Gedit Plugin])

With these changes, it doesn't work because it cannot find the gedit module. I
think you should use gobject introspection with the new gedit versions.

The problem is in the master branch. The source code for gedit 3.x is in branch
3.x. Sorry for the mistake

Why was this marked invalid?

I also have 3.6.2, and while the plugin is listed in gedit, (and selected) It
doesn't do anything.

If you have the same issue, make sure you installed the right version first.
For gedit 3.x, you must download and install v3.x plugin.

Please describe more detail if you still have a problem.
Just saying 'It doesn't work.' can't help me find out what happened.
