[BUG] The syllable boundary in segment searches #767

Closed stannam closed 3 years ago

stannam commented 3 years ago

Describe the bug In segment search, syllable boundary (i.e., the '-' symbol) does not count, although the symbol can be selected as a part of the environment.

For example, in the syllabified example corpus, searching for 'm' following the syllable boundary should find words with the 'm' onset such as atema, mashomisi, mata, etc. Instead, PCT currently finds nothing.

Sample corpus file the syllabified example corpus

To Reproduce Corpus > Phonological search... and then, image

Expected behaviour Results that include atema, mashomisi, mata, shushoma, and tatomi.
