This doesn't seem to affect all of the fonts in the application (eg visual summary window), but it does take care of enough of them that the tiny font problem Maggie mentioned in issue #289 should be reasonably well addressed.
The best/most natural size I could determine via various resolution / text size settings on my computer was 8, so that's what I've set to be the default. Font size can be changed via Preferences menu > Display tab.
