ensure first entry in corpus list is selected, when loading a new corpus #301

Sometimes when I load a new corpus, the selected sign (and therefore the contents of the visual summary panel) don't actually correspond to the first entry in the corpus list. This should be fixed so that the first entry in corpus list is selected (and shown in the visual summary panel), when loading a new corpus.
