Hello.
I'm also using PS 1.6.0.9. And it's working fine for me. And it's using PS own mail function, so if PS can send mail, this module can to. Please check the configuration of this module. Is both switches on, and did you enter corret email?
I'm testing and re-testing at this very moment with different email addresses, none works. Both switches are 'Yes'. I've also tested the PS email module by sending a test email and that works (and it also sent the default PS email to the newly registered customer in my first test, so that's not the problem).
I have checked whether mails were detected as spam. Nope, nothing in the spam folder. It seems it's simply not sending, but I'm a bit at a loss now why. Could it somehow be a theme conflict?
No, I don't tink it has anything to do with the theme. Best guess would the hooks. Check the position of the module on the hooks. See if there is some other module that is before it.
Well, yes it was positioned last (4), changed it to first position. Still same result: no emails sent.
Ooooooopppppsssss, big oversight on my part. Had done translations in the back-end, but forgot to add the right translations in the 'mail' folder. Now it's working. A big sorry that I may have caused you scraping your head what might be wrong.
No problem. I to totaly forgot about the mails. If I get the time ill add a check if mail for all lang exist.
I posted this on the PrestaShop forum as well, but since you indicated you have problems getting notices, I also post it here.
This is exactly the module I need, but unfortunately it's not working. I'm on PrestaShop 1.6.0.9 and using latest version (1.4) of this plugin. On customer registration no email is sent to the admin, only the default PrestaShop email to the registered user. Also, when the account is activated by the admin, no email is sent to the customer.
I have disabled the default PrestaShop option to send email after registration, bit it's still the same: this module does not send any email.
