Component is not picking style, props from ThemeProvider

I have a customized theme on Mui's ThemeProvider and for some reason this library component is not using it (ie: dense margin, variants, fonts)

attached a screenshot that show the difference with a normal Mui's TextField and MuiPhoneNumber
