In chapter 12.13, BhK calls abstract nouns such as poDugu, tiipi as nouns.

atanu caala poDugu

caala is it a quantifier for poDugu? If so, then mark poDugu as NOUN. Then, its just a NP+NP construction which can be analyzed as atanu being a nsubj dependent of poDugu. @nishkalavallabhi What do you think?
