The CSB503HTA includes a power switch on its volume knob, and circuitry to allow the Pi to shutdown gracefully when the switch is clicked off. This Python script sets up the proper GPIOs to enable this behavior.

Volumio support broken #2

As far as I can see the necessary packages (especially pip) are not available in the repos of the current Volumio release. Can anybody (dis)confirm that? If this is indeed the case, a workaround should be provided in the README.

IIRC you need to search for them from Volumio when you are in the plug-ins screen.

This is what the plugin screen is looking like. screenshot from 2016-12-17 13 55 44 There is no search function and I did not find anything pip/python-related. Instead, there is this 503HTA Tube DAC Plugin. In the settings only the high-frequency roll-off is mentioned, though. Does it also integrated the GPIO-turnoff-related features? If so, it should probably be mentioned or integrated into the settings.
