pkg install url and preinstalled packages #9

Hello, How can i host pfsense packages on my own server so as to can be downloaded and installed by clients? as a clarification, pkg.pfsense.org is dead, i want to have it on my host, By the way, can i preinstall packages ?

pkg.pfsense.org works just fine. it has 2 fully operation SRV records .. Yes a browser doesn't look for those.. 'pkg' does though. If you wane check the contents of that with a browser visit the files00 or http://files01.netgate.com/ sites.

Thanks, and what about preinstallation of packages? can i embed them in the iso?

I mean pfsense packages like IPS(snort) with web page on pfsense, Because I'd problem while installing packages, the "pkg_mgr.php" available packages shows error: "Unable to retrieve package information"
