I'm assigning these arbitrarily to Joe; we will split the work 50/50 but not 
strictly along I/O lines.

Made IArchive::getTop() return an IObject.

I've re-niced the APIs of these classes, based the design discussions between 
ILM and Sony.  There is still some discussion to have and consensus to arrive 
it w.r.t some of the changes.
