Won't start with Google App Engine Launcher #222

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Put Patch into google_appengine directory
2.Try to run from launcher

hi,

the app.yaml file in the sample has utf8 with BOM encoding. If you copy the
content
to an new file and save it to app.yaml again Laucher will start the sample
application. At least it did here.

I could NOT get this to run from the launcher, even with diffenbach's
suggestion that
I create a new/different app.yaml.

Closer inspection of the docs reveals that the way one launches the app is to
navigate to the folder and run

 manage.py runserver

from the command line

diffenbach method worked for me;

What I did was in GAEL File -> Create New Application

I then opened the newly created app.yaml (1) in a Text Editor, and the app.yaml
(2)
from my appenginepatch directory. Did a select all in (2), and replaced the
contents
of (1), then saved, then copied the (1) app.yaml over into my appenginepatch
site's
directory.

Hope this helps. Cheers
