DamnVid Menu does not load

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.  Open the application.
2.

What is the expected behavior?  You should see the file menu from where you can 
access things like preferences. What do you see instead?  There is no file menu 
at all.

What version of DamnVid are you using? On what operating system? Better
yet, paste the system info that you see in the Bug Report dialog, if
possible.

Please attach the file damnvid.log, found the in the following directory:
- %APPDATA%\DamnVid if you're on Windows (Copy/paste that into Explorer's
address bar)
- Home/Library/Preferences/DamnVid on Mac OS X
- ~/.damnvid on Linux
Please provide any additional information below.
