Bug: only have sound, no pictures?

Steps:
1. just installed.  First playback as above!

The log looks fine and says the conversion was successful, so I think your 
problem is
that you don't have the necessary video codec (H264) to view the converted 
video. I
suggest trying to read it with VLC Media Player: http://www.videolan.org/
