Also consider auto-moderation via the google machine learning API.

e.g. the comment column of the person finder dataset containing expletives.. 
would be cool to mark that column as needing auto-spam filtering, with the 
ability to explicitly mark individual cells as spam and have those train the 
model.  If the threshold for a given cell is not above some threshold, then 
don't show it by default and require a click-through after reading a warning 
blurb about how/why it was blocked off.
