Gps Is on but shows searching..on..searching.. on every second

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. htc touch diamond wm 6.1
2. gps on com 4 with read data directly, or unchecked to use the windows
driver.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
everything Is actually working ok. but when it gets a gps signal instead of
holding on to it, it searches every second showing "gps on" then "no gps
data", The compass also flicks from the direction of travel to north once
per second. As stated everything is more or less working wile this happens,
it shows the log's, speed and distance. but I think it is draining the batt
 faster then the last version I ran. 

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Please provide any additional information below.
Awesome Software guy's  once i figure out offline mapping for it. This will
probably be the only software I use  next to google maps for gps.

It seems so that your GPS is not sending data every second (perhaps only every 
2s).
Are you able to verify this? In version 4.2 you can try the setting "GPS 
activity:
always on; log ev. 2s"

This issue could be solved in version 4.3 (there was a similar issue which is 
solved with 4.3). Can you please test version 4.3?
