Passive Mode (Shows Map, doesn't do a track recording) #48

It's often great fun to watch yourself moving on the map, even on tracks
you allready know. I often want to see where I am, even if I don't want to
record a track. So I would love an option to turn tracking off and just see
my current position on the map (and maybe current speed/altitude data) -
without filling my folder with thousands of useless tracks.

The next version 4.2 will have this feature (also the arrow in map). It will be
released in a few days. A previous Release 4.1 is available in the forum but I
recommend to wait a few days.
