Nowiki transclusions #6

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
The transclusion protection code does not currently understand the <nowiki>
tag, which means that you may not be able to display an example
transclusion even within <nowiki> tags.

Is there a answer for that?

The same problem is with <includeonly>.
Which means anything between <includeonly> and </includeonly> will be processed
and displayed only when the page is being included, but not when the template
page is being viewed directly.

It would be very helpful, if it would work O:-)

I haven't looked at this code in a few years, but it's been on the backburner
for a while to at least update it to the latest codebase. I'll have to look at
this specific issue in more detail, but if someone were to come up with a fix
for it, I'd be happy to merge it in immediately.

Instead <nowiki>....</nowiki> you can write:
<accesscontrol>MyGroup</accesscontrol>

But I have no idea for the <includeonly> problem :-(

The Extension:Wiki2LaTeX supports some wiki markup.
Perhaps we can copy a part of this code, that Improved Access Control will
support "includeonly" and "nowiki".

http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Wiki2LaTeX/Development/w2lParser.php

Unfortunately I cannot program php and therefore I don´t know how it could
work.
Can you tell me if and what part of the code I will be able to insert into
which file of Improved Access Control.

I would be very grateful !
