Problem with a singelplayer rec #11

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Problem when I'm trying to update the highscore list.
2. The problem is only when i have my rec with level 31. If i replace that
one it works fine
3. I replace the local0.rec to the "level 31" but as soon as i do that and
try update the highscore, quadra quits.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Every other rec works fine except the "level 31". Also, if I use 1.1.7 and
singelklick on the demo in democentral quadra kills itself

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
I'm using 1.1.8 with the "-133 commando. Windows xp

Please provide any additional information below.
It works all fine just when I don't have the "level 31".

This looks a lot like issue #4. I couldn't reproduce it on Vista but we've
already
determined that this might be very platform-specific.

Assigning to pphaneuf; feel free to send it back if the issue #4 fix doesn't
resolve
this as well.

Note on reproduction: 1.2.0 uses .qrec as a file extension instead of .rec;
make
sure to rename the file when trying to reproduce the bug.

A crash would be pretty different from what I fixed, though. But if there's no
reproduction, not much we can do...

You did fix a highscore upload crash recently, haven't you? Either way this is
still
not reproducible so it should probably be closed.

This sounds very similar indeed. I'll resolve it non-reproducible, and if we
hear
back from the reporter, we'll re-open or mark it verified, as appropriate.
