Currently when uploading a file, you can either choose version 0.1 or 1.0.

Since sometimes documents are uploaded with different initial version, there 
should be a way to better control that.

Also, allowing to jump by 0.1 or the next major version only lack the 
flexibility needed (for various reasons).

While it makes suggest a version option, it should also allow some form of 
free-text versioning.

A user-customizable version numbering scheme would be really appreciated. I 
would like to transfer my current documentation to DMSF, but I'm not able to 
add proper versions of my documents, since the only version numbers available 
in DMSF for newly uploaded documents are 0.1 and 1.0.
