Enhancement: Torrent-name change #363

At the moment I'm migrating my desktop-shared torrents to my new NAS. Tedious
one-by-one work.

Request:

Some way to change the name-field (i.e what will be the name of the root
catalogue it will DL too) of the torrent content before OK'ing it for download.

Problem:

Some torrents (a CD album) are named poorly and that meant I changed the name
when I once downloaded it to something like "artist - albumname".

Example - The current path on the nas to one album is:

c\Music\LOSSLESS\XXX - YYY

but since the torrent is only named YYY the client tries to check data in

c\Music\LOSSLESS\YYY

If I rename the already downloaded catalogue to this it checks and finds the
data np but this is a really awkward naming for use purposes later. I can't
seem to use Move Torrent Data for this either.

Currently you cannot do this, because Transmission doesnt support this.
But i got a promise from charles:

15:54 <Elbandi> is any way to change the torrent name?
15:55 <@jordan> that was planned for 2.20 but didn't make it in before the
freeze. there's not a patch for it yet.
