Could you please attach an uzg(plugin).log that was saved after you played an
item that has this issue?

I have notice the same behavior on Kanal9.se. The text will disappear for 5-10
seconds and then come back again and then work for several minutes and then
disappear again. I have never reported this because i believed it was my XBMC
Alpha 3 i'm running. I never found a pattern like the above users did.

Did somebody verify if those subtitles work fine playing from the website?

I never watch Viasat channels (in my browser). Too much commercials :( so the
answer is no for me.

There seems to be a bug in the subtitle conversion. Let me try and fix this.

Please try this new subtitlehelper.py (it's located in resources/libs/helpers).
It should fix your issues. Please let me know.

That is actually as they provide them:
<Subtitle SpotNumber="10" TimeIn="00:00:33:060" TimeOut="00:00:38:230" FadeUpTime="20" FadeDownTime="20">
<Text Direction="horizontal" HAlign="center" HPosition="0.0" VAlign="bottom" VPosition="30.0">Från förlossning till bröllop,</Text>
<Text Direction="horizontal" HAlign="center" HPosition="0.0" VAlign="bottom" VPosition="22.0">från</Text>
<Text Direction="horizontal" HAlign="center" HPosition="0.0" VAlign="bottom" VPosition="14.0">dop till firanden och</Text>
<Text Direction="horizontal" HAlign="center" HPosition="0.0" VAlign="bottom" VPosition="6.0">vardagsliv.</Text>
</Subtitle>
So I can't do anything about that. Also keep in mind that I cache the
subtitles. So you need to delete userdata\addon_data\net.rieter.xot\cache\*.srt
before testing.

I can't watch any of the streams, so if there are sync issues or missing
subtitles, please give me the timestamp within the video (and perhaps check
yourself if they are in the srt file, clear the cache before testing so you
know what file to check).

Seriously? I did just past the XML that TV3 returns and it has 4 lines.
In the old code, all the subs with 2+ lines were missing! They have 3 and 4
lines and they are there to stay.

I did a check on the web page and yes they did have 3 and even 4 rows. It's not
your fault. Then it seems to work now.

Do I have to create the resources/libs/helpers directory or should it be in the
root?
I can't find it anywhere on the root, sorry for a dumb question I'm just 2
weeks into this system.

it should be in addons/net.rieter.xot/resources/libs/helpers/. That is in the
XOT main add-on folder.

I released an update for this. It's the first time I use the internal library
update feature of XOT-Uzg.v3. If all is well, after the update and the first
run you will end up with a file called
"resources/libs/helpers/subtitlehelper.py-3.3.6.1" and it should have the same
content as the "resources/libs/helpers/subtitlehelper.py" file.
Please let me know if this is working for you all and that those two files
exist.
