Hi Bas,

I cannot update from 3.3.7 to 3.4. XBMC reports: "XBMC Online TV. Niet voldaan
aan afhankelijkheden". BTW: I have my system in Dutch but keep it English here
so everybody can read it.

When I try to install from zip file the same message appears.

I have an Apple TV (version one) with XMBC Eden installed.

Is there anything I can try to update to XBMC Online TV??

Thanks in advance!

I see this in the debug logging:
23:40:04 T:2684407808 DEBUG: Addon net.rieter.xot requires xbmc.python
version 2.1.0 which is not available

Any idea how I get to this?

This is my installed XBMC version:
23:34:10 T:2684407808 NOTICE: Starting XBMC (11.0 Git:20120321-14feb09),
Platform: Darwin OSX (8.8.2 i386, Version 10.4.7 (Build 8N6014)). Built on Mar
21 2012

Kind regards,
Pieter

XBMC Eden is no longer supported. With the new Gotham coming, all addons had
their dependencies bumped. That resulted in Eden to be no longer supported.

If you want you can download the zip file and edit the addon. XML to require
python module 2.0 but you will loose the repository functionality.

If I were you I would update to Frodo. It is much better, especially on lower
end systems. Don't know if ATV1 is supported by XBMC Frodo though.

I tried changing the addon.xml file. But when I zip the directory and try to
install XBMC reports: "Add-on does not have the correct structure".

When I unzip the archive the files and directories are equal to the archive I
downloaded from your site.

Any tips?

Thanx in advance,
Pieter

Yes: delete the zip files from the addons\packages folder. XBMC will always use
that as cache, even if you install from zip file.

But more easy: just ftp the XOT files to your XBMC installation. Delete all the
net.rieter.xot (except the repo) and ftp the net.rieter.xot folder from the zip
(with modified addon.xml) to you .xbmc/addons folder.
