Question from a customer about Amp HAT:

For a prospective project I am about to plug the amplifier hat to a reactive load, and I was wondering about the effect on the amplifier hat. Indeed the load has a power factor between 0,6 and 0,8, meaning at some point it behaves like a generator reflecting between 20 % to 40 % of the output power. By chance would you have any clue if the amplifier would sustain it ?

Answer here - This sounds like non standard audio speaker load, and we have no specifications about Amp HAT behaviour at that conditions. For reference to explore/simulate test user can use TAS576M specs with output LC filter consisting of ferrite core 10uH 6.7A Isat inductor and 680nF capacitor.
