I am assuming you 18650 battery pack is connected to the PiJuice Zero micro usb power input. The PiJuice Zero has its own battery. This should work. I do not understand your alternative. The PiJuice Zero power input accepts in the range 4.2 - 10V Its output via the GPIO is max 5V.
Hi everyone, I am planning to use the following setup with my pi juice zero:
The driver hat requires an external power source to provide between 7v - 12v power. The setup is going to be mobile and so will run on a battery. I am thinking of using a 18650 battery pack 7.4v battery to power both Pi Juice and the motor. This way my setup will not end up having two different battery units.
Will Pi Juice Zero work in this setup?
Alternatively, Can I use a variable current power bank to supply up to 5v to the Pi Juice Zero and let it provide a higher voltage to my motor driver?
