Suggestion: model copying, not only texture ("furniture" block) #77

I know this mod does really a lot and is really great, and gives lots of possibilities, but, still, I cannot make a glassy chair or Ancient Debris table... Even with a lot of mods, I searched through. Well, there are "chisels and bits" or other mods alike, but it takes a lot of tedious work to create things using these, and even more, work to do copying the produced things.

Would be good, for example, if you click on the "furniture" block with the chair and the model is copied from it (just the model, to make the "furniture" block appear as a chair). Then click with any other block to apply the texture.

There are a few furniture packs around that give just basic wood things. With this feature, you will not only add compatibility between furniture mods and block-adding mods. You will also cover actually limitless possibilities. Vertical slab? Of course. Metal support? sure...

Can the above be achieved?

It's a great idea, and it can surely be accomplished, although this will most likely be very time-consuming. I'll add this to my To-Do list. Thanks for the suggestion :)
