I just started using this program, but I believe I'm doing everything right. I
sent one test message and it worked. Then I saw that one could make this happen
without the use of the "Delay Send" label, so I set that up. Since then, I've
been having the same issue as the original poster. I get the receipt email and
the message shows up in my sent messages, but I don't get the actual message in
my inbox.

Hey guys,
Sorry about the issues you're having!
tammy.kaeser -- Does the script work when not sending an email to yourself?
EmiLuv -- If you revert the change to the spreadsheet (eg. use a label again)
do things seem to work again? Also, does it work when not sending email to
yourself?

It does not fix the issue of not receiving them to my own email. I just noticed
that even though I'm getting the receipt message and the emails are in my sent
folder, they're also apparently in my trash denoted as drafts. But when I
tested to see if it worked when I sent it to someone else, it did indeed work.
It still doesn't work if I email myself, though it did that first time.

The emails addressed to me are going to Trash as drafts. Emails addressed to
others are being received. I send more emails to myself as reminders, so I
need it to work for emails to me.

This issue still has not been resolved. But I've also noticed a new issue. I
use multiple email addresses from the same account. When I send an email with
delay send, it automatically switches the sent address to my default account
rather than the email address I selected. This is a problem if I'm trying to
send an email for work reasons and my personal email address shows up instead.

Hello EmiLuv,
As the scripts run on a shared compute farm (eg. everybody shares the same
machines) once in a while they have trouble completing. I think in this case
betwen 8:20 and 9:15 things were very busy or there were some problems in the
data center.
Once in a while these messages are harmless to ignore :-)
BTW: Looking into the cause of your issue now. I think it has something to do
with the new Google Script Apps release. They enabled a new feature where
messages show up in your sent mail, but maybe in the process broke sending
message to yourself.

Blair,
I'm still having the problem of not receiving my emails in my inbox. I've
attached a sampling of the error I receive in the morning.

Hello Tammy,
Sorry about the trouble but I think you're experiencing an issue that 0.7.6 had
when a new version of Google Script API was released.
You can read more about the bug and how to work around here:

I just installed the script, and have been testing it out. I use my Gmail
account to handle 12 different addresses, from different domains. I ran into
similar problems to the above listed, and wanted to add what I found.
- If I send an email to myself, I get the receipt email, the draft goes in the
trash, but I don't receive the delayed mail.
- If I send to someone else's email address, everything works fine.
- Both of the above get an error if I send to, or send from, an address that I
have that creates its own label through one of my filters. This happens in
both cases of using the GmailDelaySend/toSend label or not.

Going to close this bug, it's too confusing to track all the different issues
(some w/ older versions) in a single bug.
If anybody is still seeing issues w/ the latest version (8) please create a new
issue w/ a description.
