Drag'n'frop in vertical alignment works incorrectly (FF 3.6.10) #118

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
== What exact steps will reproduce the problem? ==

1. Set tab bar to be shown along the left edge
2. Open A LOT of tabs, such that scroll bar appears.
3. Scroll down
4. Try dragging the bottom-most tab

== What is the expected output? What do you see instead? ==
Expected: the tab that you drag is placed under the one that you drop it onto;
blue arrow indicates the place where this tab is placed.
Mouse scroll should scroll the list.

Seen: List scrolls chaoticly, it's impossible to place the tab being dragged in
the end of the list; blue arrow points in lower than the tab should actually
go, by the amount by which the list is scrolled.
Unable to scroll the list using mouse scroll button while dragging.

== What versions of Tab Kit and Firefox are you using? On what operating
system? ==
FF: 3.6.10
Tabkit: 0.6
OS: Windows 7 x64 Pro

I can confirm the bug.
Dragging does not work when the scrollbar appears. And this feature worked with
the previous version.

Same here using FF 3.6.12, trying to move a tab to or from the area below
what's visible without scrolling down is impossible. The list of tabs shifts
erratically, up and down, but always seems to land with only the top showing.
Also, the whole list collapses while dragging a tab down if the list is set to
window-shade out of the way. It re-appears if trickled while still dragging
the tab, but the lower section is still inaccessible for dropping.
