Tab context menus turn into tooltips #120

Hovering over any tab produces the full tab title, followed by non-actionable
menu items, in what looks like a tooltip. Right Clicking on a tab produces a
blank context menu. Consequently, no context menu action is accessible.

Tooltip in this case means that the container box background is covered in
gradient rather than menus' solid colour, there is a slight delay in its
appearance when hovering, and it appears lower than the cursor (, rather than
below the cursor, as menus are wont to do).

Non-actionable means that both shortcut/ directional keyboard navigation causes
the "context menu" to go away, and so does any mouse movement.

The blank context menu consists of four separators and an empty icon column,
but neither text nor icons.

After troubleshooting, the problem has been identified as a conflict with
MenuEditor 1.2.6. (even though the MenuEditor is not altering the tab context
menu). This issue is introduced with the 0.6 version of Tabkit. The previous
stable version pulled from Moz add-ons happily co-existed.

Did try searching for my problem, but didn't notice this post until after I
posted http://code.google.com/p/tabkit/issues/detail?id=124

However, I DONT have menueditor, and I'm still having a conflict, though it is
only the right click context items for one other addon (IE tab plus) that are
being knocked into the on-hover box.

Same problem but with WinXP home SP3. Disabling MenuEditor "fixes" problem.
Just to let you know that there are at least three people with this problem.
Otherwise a great addon, thank you very much.

Confirmed. With MenuEditor 1.2.6 and TabKit 0.6.
