Hi waybrane, please be more precise, or it's very hard to help you.

Have you selected Tab Kit Options -> Tab Bar -> "The tab bar should be shown
[at the
top] of the window" and checked Tab Kit Options -> Tab Bar -> "Show the tab bar
on
multiple rows"?
Or, for a tree (hence vertical tabs), select Tab Kit Options -> Tab Bar -> "The
tab
bar should be shown [along the left edge] of the window"

And have you opened enough tabs for multiple rows to be necessary? (Tabs will
shrink
before multiple rows is activated, but scroll buttons shouldn't appear...)

i have tried version 3.* and up to 3.51 on firefox. as far as tab kit it will
only
work on the lastest version's. so whatever is the lastest version thats on the
addon
site is what i'm using. strange, i've never had problems before.

Sounds like a conflict with another extension or theme. Try installing Tab Kit
alone
in a fresh profile (http://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Managing+Profiles) to
see if
it's clashing with other addons (and if so you can find out which).

In the new profile you created (where Tab Kit is the only add-on you installed),
could you go to Tools->Add-ons, click the Extensions section, and list
everything you
see?

I once found that an automatically-installed Skype toolbar was disabling Tab
Kit, and
wonder if you might have something similar?

The "new tab button position" add-on when installed will cause this problem.

Tab Control add-on also caused the problem

ZoneAlarm toolbar also caused this problem.
