[Bug] Options for High DPI Scaling #29

Closed GTSipes closed 1 year ago

GTSipes commented 1 year ago

Currently, the App UI and group icons appear blurry on a high DPI screen such as 3840x2160. image

Trying to adjust the program to use High DPI Scaling Override in Application mode makes the text look better, but the app icons are small in the UI and large in the taskbar group. image

This exact issue was also written for the original version of Taskbar Groups, and a fix was already implemented for it and a beta build created. However, it's built on the original version of TG, and as such is missing the QoL improvements of this new version (I can't add WindowsApps). Would it be possible to add some High DPI Scaling options in the new version?

I asked the author of #255 to make a pull for the fixes (they agreed to do it), but they haven't got around to it yet. I'll create a pull request to get that in if it doesn't happen by tomorrow.

I have 3x 4K monitors and 1x '2k' monitor, all with recommended high DPI settings (the 4K use 150%), so this will be a blessing for me as well.

Until I read this issue, I never even paid attention to the blurriness because I force use the dark background, and it's already so small on the displays I didn't think anything of it.

Glad this issue was brought up and that there is a good fix ready to be pulled in easily!
