all stl files are shared in this github. for plotter pen, you need to print below 2 files but you need 01.base.stl and some h/w modification as I did. 03.pen_head.stl, 04.pen_connector.stl

And electronic parts are 1 solenoid : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/4000067584875.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.7ce1c629KZORd7 1 dc-dc converter for 24v printer such as Ender3, if your printer uses 12v, you don't need it. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32979661350.html?spm=a2g0o.productlist.0.0.5a5e7b08YzM9Fn

As schematic shows, https://raw.githubusercontent.com/PingguSoft/3dp_hotplug_tools/main/pics/3dp_hotplug_tools_pinout_plotter.png solenoid (actuator) is controlled by cooling fan signal.

thx.

Thank you That I have to change the hardware is clear to me. But I thought that it must be a certain pen. I am experimenting with a quick-change bracket with pogo pins.

thx chris

any pen is possible if its diameter fits the holder connector. I think you can modify it easily if it doesn't fit. and I also think pogo pins are very good idea

thx
