I have an issue with my Precision 5540 (which is using the same 7590 hardware).
When connecting an external display via a Thunderbolt adapter or HDMI directly, the internal display goes black and you need to close the lid and reopen it again to get a signal. Pressing the power button twice will fix it too. This is the same when cold booting with external display(s) connected.
Does someone have a fix for that?
Specs: IPS 4K Touch OpenCore 0.7.0 BigSur 11.5.1
Add a boot argument "agdpmod=vit9696", I have solved this problem just now.I really been puzzled by this a long time.
