The Recent Updates section on the homepage hasn't been updated since V1.4 was released back in Spring 2023 and wasn't updated when we updated the docs for V2 (#220). I've updated the recent docs with the information which was provided in #170.
I also made this a separate PR so that it can be merged in separately in case there are updates needed in the other PR.
