Some of the most common questions at YouTube is "What software you use?" Which camera is that you are using?". Maybe owntube should answer this question for any video. In the video description there should be two fields with this infos.

Mmmh OK we could read that out of the ID3-tags or similar but actually I can't test it because we just cat AVCHD files from our Camera in to one file and it works. So are there ID3 in those Files.

Good news, there are ID3-Tags in those files so I could try to analyze them.
