The work on the peptide monomer set has resulted in a naming convention that makes extensive use of brackets in monomer symbols.

The editor does not allow this currently and must be changed. The HELM specification allows all special characters apart from whitespace.

After discussions we decided to limit monomer names to alphanumeric and _-
