Wavelet staggering during listening #270

It is like a staggering sound while listening it suddenly starts to sound like wavelet is off and then it is back on again. It happens a lot no matter the volume or apps in the background. I tried reinstalling the app didn't work. Switched from spotify to yt music didnt work. I changed the buffer size didnt work. Samsung Z fold 5 One ui 6 android 14 (stable release) Galaxy buds 2 pro Wavelet and spotify or yt music Reverberation on Bass tuner on (natural cutoff 128 post gain 2.5) Buffer size 4096 and 8192 Non legacy dump permission granted Notification viewing allowed Turned off all battery optimization options and wavelet is unrestricted

I got sony wh-1000xm5 and it is also happening on them

In case a new audio session is started, Wavelet tries to attach sound effects to the audio as fast as possible. But this doesn't happen instantly. I think this is what causes the effect you describe, and if it is, it is not something that can be fixed. Using a smaller buffer size would reduce the effect, but won't eliminate it.
